COMING EVENTS
Over the next few months there will be several import events or activities sponsored by the chamber.
Southern Summer Night – June 30 at the Carl Parker Center located on the Port Arthur Lamar Campus. This is a fund raising event for the chamber and the Seafarer’s Center You can check out all the information on this website. It is a fun party with music, food and drink for all ages.
July Chamber Luncheon – The Sabine Neches Navigation District will be speaking about the widening and deepening of the Port Arthur Ship Channel. This is a very important project that would bring a lot of benefits to the area but has a lot of cost connected with it. This event will be held on July 17 at the Holiday Inn in Port Arthur. There is limited seating available so call the chamber and make your reservations early.
We will also begin planning our Annual Banquet for January 2013 and Golden Triangle Days in Austin for March of 2013. Watch for more on these events.
