SURVEY STORM DOCUMENTATION

The weather from storm of the evening of February 14th through 18th has produced unprecedented property damages and losses for so many of the people in State.  We have been asked by the Texas Department of Emergency Management to get the word out for citizen to complete a survey and to submit it to the State. 

This information is being collected to help officials across the state gain an understanding of damages for individuals throughout Texas. EMCs will have direct access to all reporting be a WebEoc on the Recovery Common Operating Picture Board.

Their objective in this effort is to demonstrate the scale of this disaster at the local level.

THE MORE DAMAGE WE CAN VALIDATE THE BETTER POSITION WE WILL BE IN RECEIVING GRANT ASSISTANCE.

  • The goal of the survey is to assess the total statewide damages.
  • The survey contains 19 questions.
    • At least one photograph with the damages that impacted your residence will be needed to submit the survey.
    • The results of the survey will also be provided to FEMA, it could help individuals receive federal disaster assistance.
